Columbia Women’s Basketball Senior Kitty Henderson Invited to Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game Combine
TAMPA, Fla. – Columbia women’s basketball senior Kitty Henderson has received an invitation to the inaugural Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game Combine, set to take place on Friday morning, April 4, at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida.
The combine will feature around 30 players participating in on-court drills, measurements, and testing to showcase their talents to professional scouts ahead of the WNBA Draft on April 14. Representatives from all 13 WNBA teams are expected to attend.
Henderson, who set new Columbia single-season records in assists and steals during her senior year, has been recognized for her outstanding performance on the court. She averaged 13.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.5 steals per game, shooting an impressive 45.2 percent from the floor. She was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year and was a unanimous First Team All-Ivy League selection.
A native of North Curl Curl, Australia, Henderson completed her collegiate career with impressive stats, becoming the only player in Ivy League history to achieve 1,350 points, 703 rebounds, 494 assists, and 194 steals. She led the Lions to their first NCAA Tournament win in March, solidifying her place as a standout player in women’s college basketball.
