Temecula Pickleball Complex Opens at Ronald Reagan Sports Park
Temecula’s Pickleball Community Finds Paradise at New Complex
Temecula’s pickleball enthusiasts have a new reason to celebrate as the Temecula Pickleball Complex officially opens its doors at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park. The complex, which was built on the site of a former soccer field, is a colorful addition to the park with its bright blue and green design.
Planning for the $3.7 million complex began about a year ago, and now it offers a variety of activities for players of all skill levels. From lessons to leagues and open play, the complex is set to become a hub for pickleball enthusiasts in the area.
With 17 courts available, players can enjoy the sport on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The facility even has lights for those who want to play after dark. Signs designate the skill level for each court, with options for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony held on February 15th marked the official opening of the complex, with city officials and dignitaries in attendance. Temecula City Councilmember James “Stew” Stewart congratulated the players, calling the complex their new home.
