GlobalSports Pro & Challenger Pickleball League – Season 2 Returns with Exciting Updates and Prizes
GlobalSports has announced the highly anticipated return of the GlobalSports Pro & Challenger Pickleball League – Season 2. Following the success of its inaugural season in February 2025, the league is gearing up to showcase the finest pickleball talent through an auction-based drafting format.
Scheduled to take place from December 16 to 23, 2025, Season 2 of the GlobalSports Pro & Challenger League is set to further elevate the pickleball scene in India. With the sport gaining popularity in the country, this tournament is poised to solidify its position as one of the premier events in the sport.
One of the highlights of the league is its significant prize pool, with Pro teams set to receive a purse of $62,500 and Challenger teams receiving $12,500. This demonstrates the league’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing a competitive platform for players to showcase their skills.
The upcoming auction, scheduled for July/August 2025, will see 75 Pro and 75 Challenger players shortlisted for selection. Each team will draft 5 players, comprising 50 Pro and 50 Challenger players, in what promises to be a highly competitive draft. Additionally, the league will introduce a Grand Slam of Pickleball, adding another exciting dimension to the sport in India.
