Global Pickleball Federation Names DUPR as Official Rating System

The Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) has officially named DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) as its global rating system, uniting its four continental federations, member nations, and events under one trusted platform. This milestone follows GPF’s recent submission to the International Olympic Committee seeking pickleball’s inclusion in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. DUPR, already the official rating system for major pickleball organizations like the United Pickleball Association, PPA Tour, and Major League Pickleball, uses a dynamic 2.000–8.000 scale to evaluate players across age, gender, and location by analyzing match results.

GPF’s partnership with continental federations from Africa, the Americas, Oceania, Asia, and twelve European countries establishes a truly global framework for consistent and fair competition. The GPF board, composed of key leaders and founders from countries worldwide, reflects a strong commitment to the sport’s growth and legacy. This collaboration with DUPR marks a pivotal step in standardizing pickleball ratings internationally and advancing the sport’s professional and amateur development.
