Kevin J Berk and Brett Warner to Build World’s Largest Indoor Pickleball Facility in Arizona: Exclusive Interview with ABC15
Kevin J Berk and Brett Warner, founders of PURE Pickleball & Padel, have announced plans to construct the world’s largest indoor pickleball facility in Arizona. The facility, set to be located in Scottsdale, aims to cater to pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, as well as host national-level tournaments.
With pickleball being the fastest-growing sport in the country, the decision to build the facility in Scottsdale, a hotbed for the sport, makes perfect sense. The facility will feature 48 pickleball courts and two ‘padel’ courts, showcasing another rapidly growing sport internationally.
In addition to the courts, the facility will offer a range of amenities typically found in a country club, including retail, a restaurant, a bar, exercise and fitness equipment, locker rooms with various amenities, childcare services, and special event spaces. There will also be a VIP card key access-only room on the second floor and a rooftop bar with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
The founders emphasized that the player experience is at the center of the facility’s design, with features such as individually fenced courts, cushioned underlayment for joint protection, broadcast-level lighting, and cameras for recording matches. The facility will also have the capability to open the pipes to every court during large events, allowing spectators to follow their favorite players.
PURE Pickleball & Padel is set to break ground in 2025, with an expected opening in 2026. The founders are excited about the potential for the facility to host national-level events and provide a unique experience for members and visitors alike. This project is not only set to be the largest indoor pickleball facility in Arizona but also in the world, showcasing the founders’ commitment to creating a top-tier facility for the sport’s growing community.
