New Pickleball Indoor Facility Opens in Fair Lawn
The Picklr, an indoor pickleball facility, has officially opened its doors in Fair Lawn, Bergen County. The 32,000-square-foot club boasts 12 fully fenced “oversized” indoor courts with “outdoor-style court surfacing,” making it a unique and exciting addition to the area.
The grand opening celebration on Saturday was a hit, featuring raffles, a food truck, and even meetings with a physical therapist. The site, which used to be a warehouse, has been transformed into a vibrant hub for pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.
Co-owner Wai Yiu expressed the club’s mission to build a community where people can come together and enjoy the sport. With monthly and yearly membership options available, as well as day passes for non-members, The Picklr offers a variety of ways for players to get involved.
The facility’s chief strategy officer, Steven Russell, highlighted the unique features of The Picklr, including a sound baffle system to reduce noise levels during games and a range of clinics for players of all skill levels. With plans to expand to 88 locations nationwide by 2025, The Picklr is quickly becoming a go-to destination for pickleball enthusiasts across the country.
