Denver Recreation Centers Closed June 19 for Juneteenth Holiday

Posted In:

Denver Recreation Centers and pools will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Generally, Denver Recreation Centers close on city-observed holidays, and outdoor pools close during inclement weather or when temperatures fall below 65 degrees. Emergency closures may occur due to maintenance or power outages and might not always be posted online, so it is recommended to call the facility directly to confirm hours and schedules.

The Harvard Gulch Recreation Center, located at 550 E. Iliff Ave., offers a variety of amenities including weight and cardio equipment, a gym with Pickleball, a game room, group fitness classes, and a seasonal outdoor pool. Ashland Recreation Center provides additional youth services such as a free meal program and free youth membership through the MY Denver Card program. Weekly schedules for fitness, aquatics, and gymnasium activities across Denver can be viewed online via the city’s recreation calendar.
