“Coconut Creek to Host Indoor Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball Tournament for Women”
The City of Coconut Creek is gearing up for an exciting event that is sure to light up the night – an Indoor Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball Tournament for women. This unique twist on the fast-paced game will take place on Tuesday, January 7, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Coconut Creek Community Center gymnasium.
Open to women aged 18 and older, the tournament is designed for intermediate to advanced players. Participants can expect a round-robin format with rotating partners, ensuring everyone gets to play at least four games. Each game will be played to 11 points with a win-by-one differential.
What sets this tournament apart is the glow-in-the-dark element. The court, equipment, and accessories will all glow under blacklight, creating a truly unforgettable experience for all involved. Players are required to bring their own paddles, but the rest of the setup will be provided for them.
