CityPickle Expands to West Palm Beach with Seasonal Residency at CityPlace
CityPickle, the urban pickleball brand that has been making waves in New York City, is now expanding its reach to the sunny shores of West Palm Beach. With a seasonal residency at CityPlace, a popular destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, pickleball enthusiasts in Florida will now have the opportunity to experience the excitement of CityPickle firsthand.
Thanks to a significant minority investment from The Avenue Sports Fund, led by former Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry, CityPickle is set to operate 13 courts and court-adjacent cabanas at a future development site in CityPlace. The pickleball pop-up will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with reservations available online or through CityPickle’s app.
CityPickle co-founder Mary Cannon expressed her excitement about the expansion to West Palm Beach, calling CityPlace the perfect location for the brand’s continued growth. The collaboration with Related Ross, a mixed-use real estate and lifestyle company, has made this expansion possible, with plans to enhance community engagement through innovative programming.
This move to Florida comes on the heels of CityPickle’s success in New York City, where the brand has established itself as a leader in the pickleball scene. With locations in Central Park, Hudson Yards, and Philadelphia, CityPickle has been attracting pickleball enthusiasts of all levels with its top-notch facilities and engaging programming.
For pickleball fans in West Palm Beach and beyond, the arrival of CityPickle at CityPlace promises to bring a new level of excitement to the sport. With seasonal memberships offering perks like open play, early booking privileges, and discounts, there’s no better time to pick up a paddle and join in on the fun.
