Scarsdale High School Junior Chase Kantor Receives Youth Service Award for Global Impact
Scarsdale High School Junior Chase Kantor has been making a difference in the lives of youth worldwide through his nonprofit organization, Goalkeeper. Kantor recently received a Youth Service Award from the Westchester County Youth Bureau for his dedication to improving the well-being of communities around the world.
At the annual Youth Service Award Ceremony, Kantor was recognized alongside ten other exceptional high school juniors and seniors from Westchester who have shown outstanding leadership and commitment to service and social justice. Kantor’s work with Goalkeeper has raised over $40,000 through various fundraising events and initiatives, including pickleball tournaments, basketball clinics, and merchandise sales.
Through Goalkeeper, Kantor has been able to support projects in Senegal and Dakar, providing clean water systems, field renovations, and educational opportunities for youth athletes. Additionally, Kantor collected donated professional sports jerseys worth over $10,000, which were distributed at zero dollar Holiday Pop-up shops in collaboration with Back Back America.
Kantor’s passion for sports and outdoor activities has driven him to create opportunities for youth who may not have access to the same resources he had growing up in Scarsdale. His goal is to build stronger, healthier, and more connected communities through hands-on engagement and fundraising efforts both locally and abroad.
With his dedication to improving the lives of youth worldwide, Chase Kantor is truly deserving of the Youth Service Award and serves as an inspiration to others looking to make a positive impact in their communities.
