In the warmer months, Wollman Rink transforms into NYC’s most iconic pickleball court location. With 14 new courts added as part of a collaboration with CityPickle, visitors can now enjoy playing this popular sport in a unique setting. The rink also hosts a variety of other experiences throughout the year, including artistic programming and community events.
From 2003 to 2019, Wollman Rink was home to the Victorian Gardens amusement park for children during the off-season months. In the summer of 2022, it offered an immersive roller-disco experience, combining 70s era music with dance, lights, art, and live performances.
Looking ahead to the 2024 season, Wollman Rink will continue to offer unforgettable pickleball experiences with 14 permanent courts available for play seven days a week. In addition, the ice skating season will run from October 26th to March 15th, providing skaters with the opportunity to enjoy the rink in the winter months.
