Pickleball Fundraiser in Carbondale: Support Local Youth with the Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Carbondale is gearing up for its third annual Pickleball in the Park Social and Fundraiser, set to take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Longfellow Park in Murphysboro. This exciting event aims to raise $5,000 to support student scholarships and local youth organizations in the community.

Registration for the event will open at 8:30 a.m., with gameplay kicking off at 9:00 a.m. Participants and spectators alike can look forward to a fun-filled day of pickleball while making a positive impact on the lives of young people in the area.

In order to reach their fundraising goal, the Rotary Club is seeking sponsorships at three different levels. A $1,000 sponsorship includes recognition in all advertising efforts, while a $500 sponsorship offers recognition in print advertising and social media. For those looking to contribute at a smaller level, a $100 sponsorship includes recognition at the event itself.

Last year’s event raised over $3,500, and the Rotary Club is hopeful that with the community’s support, they can surpass that amount this year. By coming together for a day of pickleball and fundraising, attendees will not only have a great time but also make a meaningful difference in the lives of local youth.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support a great cause and have a blast at the same time. Mark your calendars for October 19th and join the Rotary Club of Carbondale for a day of pickleball and philanthropy at Longfellow Park.
