Abraham Joseph has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Chetak Technology Ltd., with a focus on Electric Vehicles (EVs). Simultaneously, Ramtilak Ananthan has been named the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Bajaj Auto Ltd., emphasizing regulatory compliance and product development transitions.
Abraham Joseph, who previously served as the Chief Technology Officer at Bajaj, has been instrumental in the development of various products such as the Pulsar brand, Platina, Avenger, Dominar, CT, and more. His tenure at Bajaj has seen significant milestones in the two-wheeler and three-wheeler segments for petrol, diesel, CNG, LPG, and electric vehicles. Joseph’s expertise has been crucial in expanding Bajaj’s research and development efforts in the EV space.
On the other hand, Ramtilak Ananthan brings over 30 years of experience to his new role as the Chief Technology Officer for Bajaj Auto Ltd. He has led product development transitions and ensured compliance with regulatory norms. Ananthan’s previous roles within the company, including Vice President – R&D and Head – Test & Validation, have been pivotal in driving advancements such as the transition to BS6 and Stage 2 BS6 standards.
These leadership changes signify Bajaj Auto’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological innovation in the automotive industry.
