“Electric Pickle: The Latest Pickleball Eatertainment Concept Set to Open in Tempe, Arizona”

Electric Pickle to Elevate the Eatertainment Experience with Pickleball Courts, Restaurant, and More

The pickleball trend is showing no signs of slowing down, with the upcoming opening of Electric Pickle in Tempe, Arizona. This new eatertainment concept will feature 4.5 acres of pickleball courts, a two-story restaurant, and additional activities like bocce ball courts and ping pong tables.

Operated by Eureka! Restaurant Group and financially backed by Knighthead Capital Management, Electric Pickle has ambitious plans for national expansion. Future locations are already in the works for Las Vegas, Roseville, Katy, Rancho Cucamonga, and Reno.

Founder and co-CEO Paul Frederick believes that the demand for activity-driven restaurant experiences has only increased since the COVID-19 pandemic. He sees pickleball as a key component of this trend, especially when combined with culinary offerings and a fun, energetic atmosphere.

While Electric Pickle is entering a competitive market of pickleball-themed eatertainment concepts, Frederick is confident that their focus on elevating the overall experience will set them apart. The venue will offer a diverse international menu, state-of-the-art AI gaming technology, and a lush outdoor setting complete with waterfalls and firepits.

With a strong emphasis on food and beverage, Electric Pickle aims to create a menu that reflects their ethos of “polished comfort food.” The goal is to transport guests to a paradise or vacation spot, where they can enjoy a unique blend of entertainment and dining.

As Electric Pickle prepares to open its first location in Tempe, the team is already looking ahead to future expansions. By targeting emerging markets for pickleball, they hope to establish a strong presence in areas where competition is limited. The next locations in Roseville and Las Vegas are expected to open within the next 11 months.
