The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) has launched the APP Selkirk Collegiate Series, a new collegiate pickleball tour officially sanctioned by USA Pickleball, in partnership with NIRSA, Selkirk Sport, and USA Pickleball. The series will feature seven regional qualifiers across the U.S., culminating in the 2026 U.S. Collegiate Championships in Florida, with $85,000 in total prize money. Dominic Catalano will direct the series, supported by professional player Susannah Barr as a liaison, and events will be hosted in multiple states, including venues by longtime partner Chicken N Pickle.
Each partner plays a key role: NIRSA integrates the series into its collegiate sports portfolio; Selkirk Sport provides equipment, sponsorship, and broadcast coverage through popular YouTube channels; USA Pickleball offers sanctioning, student memberships, and grants; and the APP manages the series and funding. This collaboration aims to grow collegiate pickleball by providing student-athletes with sanctioned competition, resources, and increased visibility, positioning college pickleball as a vital part of the sport’s national expansion.
