Amateur Pickleball Paddle Testing Expands with Go-No-Go Machine to Ensure Fair Play Worldwide

Posted In:

Pickleball is expanding paddle testing from professional to amateur levels using the Go-No-Go (GNG) Machine, adopted by major organizations including DUPR, the United Pickleball Association (UPA-A), and PickleballTournaments.com. This initiative, starting this month, aims to ensure fairness by verifying that paddles meet deflection standards, so skill rather than equipment determines outcomes. The collected data will also contribute to trust scores for players and paddle manufacturers, enhancing transparency and consistency across the sport.

The testing program will begin in the US and extend globally to countries such as Australia, India, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam, China, and Canada, covering major amateur and professional events like the Amateur State Championship Series, PPA Challenger Series, Major League Pickleball, and the Pickleball World Championships. This move is designed to uphold high standards, promote fair competition, and support pickleball’s growth as a trusted, modern sport worldwide.
