Spring Fling Pickleball Tournament Returns to Rancho Conejo Playfields in 2025
The Annual Spring Fling Pickleball Tournament is set to take place on March 22-23, 2025, at the Rancho Conejo Playfields in Newbury Park, California. Hosted by the Ventura County Pickleball Club (VCPC) and Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD), this highly anticipated event will feature multiple competitive divisions for players of all levels.
Players looking to participate in the tournament must register and pay as a team. The tournament will be run on the SWISH App, and all participants are required to have the app downloaded and linked to their DUPR ID.
The tournament will include rotating partner and set partner round-robin formats. On Saturday, March 22, there will be Men’s Doubles (3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+), Women’s Doubles (3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+). On Sunday, March 23, there will be Mixed Doubles (3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+), Beginner’s Scramble (2.5-2.8), Youth Scramble, Men’s Singles, and Senior Divisions if numbers allow.
Matches will follow USA Pickleball 2025 rules, using Franklin X40 balls. Ten outdoor courts will host games, with medals being awarded to the top three finishers in each division based on win/loss results from the SWISH App. Players must use USA Pickleball-approved paddles and adhere to the official dress code, with a waiver required to be signed at check-in.
Registration is open, and players are encouraged to ensure accurate skill ratings before registering. The VCPC Seeding Committee reserves the right to adjust placements, and refunds are available until March 14, 2025, with an $8 processing fee. In case of cancellation due to weather, partial refunds will be issued.
