The 2025 Parade of Homes, hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans, showcases 16 newly built homes by 14 local builders across various desirable neighborhoods. These homes feature modern amenities, flexible floor plans, and year-round outdoor living spaces, with highlights including innovative designs like DIA Custom Builders’ invisible scullery/pantry, luxury touches such as wine cellars, elevators, and pickleball courts, and energy-efficient features. Trends include large porcelain tiles, fiber cement siding, vinyl windows, and the popular butler’s pantry or scullery to keep kitchens pristine during entertaining.

The event, free to attend on June 28-29 from 1 to 5 p.m., offers visitors the chance to explore homes ranging from $250,000 to over $2 million, with expert advice available from builders, designers, and real estate professionals. Notable homes include a $2 million Kenner residence with hidden laundry doors and a St. Jude Dream Home in Bucktown designed to support children’s research, featuring contemporary design and luxury details. Select homes will also be available for virtual tours starting July 31.
