The 2025 Parade of Homes, taking place June 28-29 from 1 to 5 p.m., showcases 16 newly built homes by 14 local builders across various desirable New Orleans neighborhoods. These homes feature modern amenities and design trends such as large porcelain tiles, fiber cement siding, vinyl windows, and multifunctional spaces including sculleries or butler’s pantries, wine cellars, and even luxury additions like elevators and pickleball courts. Attendees can explore flexible floor plans, year-round outdoor living spaces, and consult with industry professionals on-site.
Highlighting innovation, DIA Custom Builders presents an “invisible scullery” cleverly disguised as an armoire, combining pantry, wet bar, and appliance storage in one concealed space. Other notable homes include a $2 million Kenner residence with expansive living areas and luxury features, and the $700,000 St. Jude Dream Home supporting children’s research. The event, organized by the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans, offers free admission and virtual tours starting July 31 for select homes.
