Phase 1 Bids for Riverview Park Improvement Project Due Wednesday
Contractors have until Wednesday to submit bids for Phase 1 of the Riverview Park improvement project in Marshalltown. The project, estimated to cost $2.2 million, includes the installation of pickleball courts, new playground equipment, a pedestrian bridge, lagoon improvements, and possibly a horseshoe pit. Parks and Recreation Director Geoff Hubbard is excited about the upgrades, which will make the park more accessible and enjoyable for residents. The project is expected to start in the spring of 2025, with additional improvements planned for other parks in the area. Residents can look forward to a revitalized Riverview Park with plenty of activities to enjoy.
